KDM ESD Safe Chairs use only conductive fabric to ensure full ESD safety. At the rear of each backrest is a fully conductive plastic cover. All fabric and textiles used in the manufacture of KDM ESD Safe Chairs is inflammable and extremely durable. A high-polished, 5 star die cast aluminium base adds to the stability of the KDM ESD Safe Chair and all ESD Safe Chairs are fitted with either ESD safe braked castors with soft wheels for hard floors or ESD Safe glides. Prior to dispatch, each KDM ESD Safe Chair is tried and tested to ensure conformance with European ESD standard, IEC 61340-5-1.

Each KDM ESD Safe Chair incorporates a gas-operated spindle, providing three height adjustments to achieve the ideal working position. Levers located on the side of the chair / underneath the seat allow the user to adjust the operating height of the chair.

All KDM ESD Safe Chairs have back angle adjustment of up to 16º to provide extra lumbar support for the user. Side-mounted knobs easily adjust the back of the chair allowing the user to achieve the ideal back angle. An adjustable height chrome footring, measuring 500mm in diameter, is fitted as standard on KDM18 and KDM19 series chair.
